After a flower is pollinated, something amazing happens — it starts to form a fruit! The fruit grows from the ovary of the flower and contains seeds inside. Every fruit we eat — mango, apple, banana, tomato — is a fruit that contains seeds. Even pea pods, corn, and wheat grains are fruits! Seeds travel to new places and grow into new plants.
