Wind is moving air — caused by unequal heating!🔥hot landhot air rises→→→→→cool air flows in❄️cool seacool air sinksHigh pressure → Low pressure = WINDThe greater the temperature difference, the stronger the wind!

Wind is the horizontal movement of air from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure. Unequal heating of Earth's surface creates these pressure differences. When the sun heats a patch of land, the air above it warms, expands, and rises — creating a region of low pressure. Cooler, denser air from nearby high-pressure areas rushes in to fill the gap — that rush of air is wind. The greater the temperature difference, the stronger the wind.
